Bishop Bobby Wellons helps souls reach the holiness

Pastor has been through many trials in his life and overcame them

February, the month that is celebrated as Black History Month in the U.S. is the month, on the 22nd day, ...

Bishop Bobby Wellons

“The Lord gave me a new vision,” Wellons said, “and the church’s name was changed to New Changing Life Deliverance Church in 1988.”

In the 1990s, Wellons says he went through several trials, but he always gave God the glory. He told the church he was going to fall, but that he would be back. He lost his church, became homeless, and his family was separated. His mother and oldest daughter died. And he started drinking alcohol, smoking marijuana and crack on the streets of Opa-locka. “But the Lord wasn’t through with me,” Wellons said.

“God picked me up and gave me a powerful anointing and filled me with the Holy Spirit,” Wellons said. “I started preaching again in homes, motels and in churches on nights those churches were not having services.” The Lord, again, saw his faithfulness, and in November 2004, New Changing Life, 6942 NW 15th Ave., was blessed with a sanctuary of its own, Cooper said.

Wellons knows what it is to be on the streets, homeless and with no one to turn to. He says, “God is the answer to all of those needs and his desires and without him in our lives nothing else matters.”

On Valentine’s Day in 2006, Wellons says, he was working for the Lord when he had a terrible car accident. “It was a hit and run, and I was left with a broken neck in two places. I was sent to the trauma unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital. I was told even if I lived I would be paralyzed. God not only spared my life, I was healed in 80 days — walking, talking and praising God even more.” Wellons says he know what his calling is — to help lead others to the Lord. His vision continues to be to help souls from hell to holiness.

Hanging Out With Jesus

James 4:7-10King James Version (KJV)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.  Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

As we draw nigh to the end of 2015, God is asking us to draw nigh unto Him in 2016. It’s time for us to “Hang Out With Jesus”; and go back to our first love. This year(2015), has been a year of so many miracles, blessings, and victories that we should look forward to hanging out with God. Imagine all of the many wonderful things He has planned for us in 2016. Many of the testimonies of 2015 included Salvation, spiritual growth, deliverance, new revelations, family reunions and reconciliations, healing, jobs, increase in finance, cars, homes, and so much more. Why not give back to God what he has given us: more time. He’s given us grace for multiple chances to “get our acts together”; when He is not obligated to do so. Jesus came to save that which was lost, and we’re included in that number.

God used our Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr. once again during the last Sunday in 2015 to let us know that we need to “Hang Out With God”. We spend so much time in places and around people that may not be feeding our souls with the sufficient nourishment for our Spirit Man; and it has begun to show through the lack of love for others, lack of faith, unhappiness, and bad habits we carry. However, if we take a moment to reflect on the goodness of God, and spend more quality time with Him; these negative habits can change. Hanging out with Jesus can be as simple as “stealing away” from others and finding a quiet place to worship God, meditating on His goodness, studying His word, washing the dishes or your car; while keeping Him included in your daily occupation. You’ll feel so much better within yourself and come out with such a clear mind because of giving more of yourself to God without distraction.

Let the Lord in, let Him be your “all & all”; He truly deserves it. He wants to be loved by you, because He unconditionally loves you.

God bless you and your family; and NCLDC truly thank you for all of your support and prayers. We continue to grow and reach out to the lost at any cost. We include you in our prayers, much love from NCLDC in 2015 through to 2016.

Have a Happy & Blessed New Year

June 30, 2013 Message: God’s Gonna Fix it!

God has used the Man of God once again to bring forth a powerful message of redemption, healing, deliverance, and restoration. We must know and believe that God CAN Do ALL things, and he is in the miracle working business. The following scriptures reveals the works of God in the community, and within our very own ministries. New Changing Life Deliverance Church believes that through the power of God and HIS word, that “God’s Gonna Fix It”!

We must uphold those that lead and guide us in our walk, we must consider our fellow brothers in sisters by their character and hearts for the Lord. If we recognize our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, we will understand the way in which we must care for, serve, and conduct ourselves accordingly. God loves us, and as long as we follow Christ and his teachings he will help us along the way. As Jesus gave the blind man instructions concerning his healing, the obedience of that blind man brought him out of the hole; and took him into a pure miracle.

The bible tells us that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide us into all truth; so with that said, ask the Holy spirit to lead and guide you into the understanding and revelation of how these scriptures pertain to your life.

Much love and be BLESSED!

1 Thessalonians 5:12
(Know those that labour among you)
And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

John 9 (Jesus heals the blind)
And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth…
