The Good and The Right Way of the Lord

1 Samuel 12:23 (KJV)- “Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the Lord in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way;”

We at NCLDC is forever grateful for the teaching of God through our Leader Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr.

As we close out the week of our Pastor’s 2018 Birthday Celebration; we recognize that only through the teachings of the Lord are we able to prosper and accomplish that which is set before us. We are so thankful that God continues to use Man of God in such a mighty way to bring souls closer to Christ; bring families back together; and teach us what it really takes to please God.

1 Samuel 12:23 reflects on Samuel, the Man of God and how he urged the children of Israel to live for the Lord in all righteousness. He encouraged the people that regardless of how sinful or disobedient they may have been in the past or present; they must continue to serve the Lord with all their heart. Samuel recognizes that no matter the actions of the people; he has to be steadfast in the position that the Lord has placed him in as a leader and a teacher of God’s people.

God always uses a man or woman to be an example and guide as to how HIS people must live. Romans 10:14-15 says “How shall they hear without a preacher; how shall they preach, except they be sent”? God’s people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. If we don’t know the ways of the Lord, we shall perish according to Hosea 4:6. This shows us that if we obey the commandments of the Lord; we will be blessed beyond measure.

There is so much value in God’s word and as He uses HIS men and woman of God to teach us the good and the right way, we will prosper. It takes a real man or woman of God to petition and stand in the gap for God’ people; regardless of our imperfect ways. Samuel was an example of a true leader that purposed in HIS heart to “sin not” against God in ceasing to pray for HIS people; but to teach them the good and right way.

Are you teachable????

And the word is… “Thanks!”

There is no better way to show gratitude, appreciation, and belief in God your Father, through Jesus Christ than to say “Thanks”.

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

-1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

If you are going through ANY sort of trial, test, or tribulation right now in your Christian walk; tell the Lord “Thanks!” If you are waiting for a breakthrough, tell the Lord “Thanks”. If you don’t know how you’re going to make it out of YOUR situation, tell the Lord “Thanks”. Simply put, “Thanks!” Don’t try to figure out the statement; don’t try to understand why you should say “Thanks!”; just do it.

God is testing you in your thanksgiving. He wants to know if you trust him. He wants to know if you remember the things that HE has already done for you. He wants to know if you will thank Him anyhow. Just say “Thanks!”. I understand that this one act of speaking to any of your situations, with this one word, may seem a bit strange, or may not make sense; but I dare you to try God by saying “Thanks!”

The following scripture is an illustration and proof that the word “Thanks” can raise the dead, bring you out of whatever trying situation that you’re in; and/or give you the new beginning that you need:

John 11:41-42King James Version (KJV)

41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

The above scripture demonstrates how Jesus thanked God before he called Lazarus from the grave. Jesus thanked God for hearing him many times passed when He needed help. He thanked God in advance for what he was about to request of Him (the dead to be raised). Jesus wept concerning Lazarus; and the people that mourned for Lazarus. But HE assured them that Lazarus had fallen asleep; which meant that Lazarus’ state was only temporary. Some of our situations seem like they are permanent or there is no way out. Some may even seem like the things we are asking God for will never come to life. However, God is telling us to speak life into those dead situations, just by saying “Thanks!”

Saints, I admonish you to give God “Thanks” for whatever you’re going through. No matter how tough it may seem, or how hard it may get; tell the Lord “Thanks!”. It’s HIS will, that we give “Thanks”. Remember, all that we do in the will of God is blessed. If you’re rent is due, tell the Lord “Thanks”. If you’re having problems in your marriage, tell the Lord “Thanks!”. This “Thanks” is a mystery because you are thanking God is a most peculiar way; but it is the will of God. This “Thanks!” is the answer to your prayers. This “Thanks!” can heal AIDS, Cancer, strokes, and any other disease if you only just believe. Why worry and stress when you don’t have the physical prescription or worldly way of curing sickness; when you have been given power and authority from on high to heal by saying “Thanks!”

2 Kings 5:1-17 (KJV) speaks about Naaman, a great man; but also a leper. In order for Naaman to be healed from leprosy; the Man of God, Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, “Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.” Naaman was angry because he assumed Elisha would come out to him, and stand, and call on the name of the Lord his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper. He assumed wrong. Just as Naaman’s servants spake to him and said “if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it?”. We should also consider this question: “If God asked us to do some great thing, would we have do it?” All God is asking us to do is say “Thanks!”. We don’t have to think about it, just do it.

Your answer is in your “Thanks!”

2017 Highlights in the Lord

New Changing Life Deliverance Church celebrates this week’s “Highlights” in the Lord. We thank God for our leader, Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr. The Lord continues to use the Man of God to help us recognize the “Highlights” of the Lord.

There are many blessings that take place in our lives; but the miracles that we experience are true highlights that we must always recognize and share with others around us. John 5:1-16 discussed the highlight of a man that sat at the Pool of Bethesda for 38 long years. Thirty-eight years is a lifetime for some; so imagine the case of infirmity he was facing for a lifetime that only Jesus could change with one simple word of instruction: “Rise, take up thy bed and walk”.

2017 has been an amazing year thus far. God let us know, through our Bishop that 2017 is the year of “Increase”. And yes, since January of this year, an “Increase” is exactly what we’ve continued to experience. Although the trials may get increasingly heavy, and times get a little rough; we recognize that through it all God will never leave us, nor forsake us. As we “rise”, God is reminding us through Psalm 1, of the character and actions of a “blessed man”. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly…”; revealed in the 1st verse from this 1st division of Psalms. As we study this scripture thoroughly, it opens us up to more of how a blessed man lives his life; and the benefits he will gain from doing so.

A blessed man “shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season”. Galatians 5:22-23 describe the 9 Fruit of the Spirit in its entirety; which includes love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (against such there is no law). However, imagine how many Saints we know that has an abundance of love, faith, and goodness; but they lack joy. When God saved us, joy was one of the first things we should have experienced. We couldn’t wait to tell everyone we knew that we were saved. We shared the love of God with so much joy and excitement. We wanted everyone in our family saved. We shouted, gave God glory for everything, and kept a genuine smile on our faces without realizing we were smiling. What happened to that joy??? What happened to that smile??? Who or what did we allow to take it from us???

It’s time for us to rise, go back, and get it! It’s time for RESTORATION. Everything the devil stole, God is getting ready to return. This includes our JOY!!!!! Saints, go back and get your joy. If you don’t want that old joy anymore; ask the Lord to give you BETTER JOY than you had before. Now, that’s RESTORATION!!!!!

Keep Your Assignment

New Changing Life Deliverance Church gives God all the glory for using our Bishop, Bobby Wellons, Sr. on this past Sunday, August 21, 2016. God used the Man of God to help us see ourselves and the “ASSIGNMENT” that God has for our individual lives. God is urging the Saints to “Keep Your Assignment”.

Our assignment is not what we “think” we should do, or what we “feel” or “don’t feel like” doing. Our assignment is to do whatever God is commanding us to do. It’s all about obedience, and saying “Yes” to God. This is a heavy subject for many Saints; but if we want to prosper and be in health even as our soul prospers, then answer the call(your assignment). Sometimes we disobey, neglect, and even let others push us out of the Will of God for our lives; but WE must stand firm on what our position is and complete the task in its entirety. We can’t even allow the devil to speak to our minds and stop us from being obedient. We have to speak back to that devil with the Word of God (with power & authority). Saints, I admonish you to keep yourselves in remembrance of what God did for you when you were obedient to the call (assignment). Obedience = Miracles, this is a result of sticking to your assignment.

God’s grace is sufficient for us, and if he has assigned a specific task for us to finish out; then we can do it. Tell yourself “I ALREADY KNOW WHAT TO DO!” God knows who we are, and what we are capable of because he created us for each assignment that was given to us individually. If you’re a wife, that’s your assignment. If you’re a husband, that’s your assignment. If you’re single, that’s your assignment. If you’re a Bishop, Apostle, Deacon…. These assignments were placed on you by God (through Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ); and if he assigned them, he knows were capable. God wants us to be faithful in the things that he has assigned to us to be stewards over. When Jesus speaks about the parable of the faithful and unfaithful servants, he states that the talents were given “to every man according to his several ability”.

The Bible says to “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15 kjv) Ultimately, in order to keep the assignments that the Lord has placed before us, we must study God’s word. Below, you will find powerful scriptures spoken to us through the mouth of the Prophet pertaining to keeping our assignment. Use them as a study guide and encouragement to stay faithful and focused on your assignment’s journey. We pray that the Lord keep you, and open your mind to the Word of God like never before.

We Are Blessed!!!!

God bless you and “Happy Thursday” from New Changing Life Deliverance Church. Once again, God has used our Man of God: Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr. to encourage, set free, and keep God’s children on “Straight Street” with the Word of God.

Psalm 107:20 (KJV)says “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.” And on this past Sunday, we received a true word of healing and deliverance for our souls. God reminded us through the Man of God that we are blessed. No matter what you are facing, God wants you to know that you are blessed. The Beatitudes of Matthew 5 (KJV) points out every situation that a Child of God may be facing; and it reveals the blessing behind each of those situations.

Within that scripture, it is revealed that Jesus had to encourage His disciples. As disciples of the Lord, we will face obstacles; there will be times that we need a Word from the Lord in order to “go through”. Ultimately, we are now in that season. However, the Lord says “We’re Blessed!” Blessed are the poor in spirit; blessed are thay that mourn; blessed are the peacemakers; blessed are they that thirst & hunger after righteousness….Blessed are ye! The Beatitudes give great detail of situations in which Saints can feel discouraged, but in turn reveals the blessing within them.

If you’re a Saint going through a difficult time in your mind, body, soul, spirit, or maybe even in your finances, here are a few tools that you can study and apply to your life (RIGHT NOW!!!!) in order to be healed and delivered from those situations. Remember, Obedience is Key. Obedience=Blessings & Disobedience=Curses.

1) Deuteronomy 28:15 (Disobedience)

2) Matthew 5 (You are Blessed: Words of Encouragement)

3) Malachi 3:10 (Remedy for prosperity & Protection)

Much Love,
