Violent Faith!!!

9/28/2014

Matthew 11:12 (KJV) …the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force”.

You may have suffered or gone through during the first 6 months of this year, but that suffering is over. God is going to take the next 6 months of this year within your life, and turn it around in your favor. You have gone through the struggles, and trials; so now its time for your blessings. We as Saints don’t need to look at trying situations as if it’s the end of everything. We need to see that God is getting ready to turn things around. Our job is to stay obedient, pay our tithes and offerings, keep praying, and serve God and others; as we go THROUGH the trial. Then once the trial is over, know that your blessing is NEXT.

We (at NCLDC) thank God for all things, because we know that “all things work together for good to them that love God…” Many of us experience situations where we can’t see our way out, and don’t know what’s going to happen next. However, just keep in mind that if God is taking you through a great trial, then your reward will be a great blessing. Our job as saints is to stay focused and don’t stop believing that “God is gonna bring us out of this one on top!” Never give up, don’t quit because your blessing it right around the corner.

Within, Luke 18:1-9 (KJV) Jesus discusses the parable of the “Unjust Judge”. This parable reveals that if we continue to believe in God and be persistent about requesting our blessings without giving up on the promise; then God will eventually move. Sometimes, God just tests us to see if we will give up. He wants to see if we will be faithful in trusting His words and promises to us. We as Saints can’t afford to just give up, or accept a negative report from the Devil. We have to keep pressing on and trust God. We have to step out on faith, go and take what’s belongs to us.

There are prophecies and promises that God has made to us which have not YET come to pass. If you need to remind God, keep those prophecies in remembrance and “point your finger in God’s face” and let HIM know that you have not forgotten what He has promised you. Let HIM know how long you have been waiting and trusting what He says and God will eventually “avenge you of your adversary”. However, you must live a life that will allow God to accept your finger and prayer:) Saints, don’t give up on God. Let HIM know that you are waiting, and most importantly, DON’T STOP WAITING! Keep the faith, and don’t stop praying. That widow was persistent; she did not take “No” for an answer.

It takes a strong belief in God to keep trust and believe in His promises. We can’t let anything shake our faith. We have to keep God’s word in our heart, and ponder on it. Luke 2:19 (KJV) says “but Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart”. Mary believed, received, and kept the words that God spoke to her concerning Jesus’ life in her heart. As Jesus grew older, Mary saw those spoken words become a reality (during many instances). Now your job is to keep praying, believing, reminding, and trust God. Be unmoveable!

With all of that said, God has spoken through the mouth of the Prophet, Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr. to let us know that:

  • We must have “Violent Faith”
  • God is going to move on our behalf, like he did for the Persistent Widow
  • We must “Check our Prayer Life”
  • Slap that Devil and Take It Back!!!

Please review the above scriptures, in addition to: Matthew 8:5-10 KJV, discussing the Faith of the Centurion. God is pleased by hearing us pray for others, versus continually praying for ourselves. He loves to feel the concern that we have for others; that concern reveals our level of faith, and how that same faith reaches God. Remember to ALWAYS reach out for others as you reach out to God.

Love you in the Lord,
