Family Member Sunday- A day when the saints of New Changing Life Deliverance Church brings a family member to hear from the Lord, be blessed through the word of God, and hear the TRUTH about Jesus Christ through the mouth of our Leader, Pastor, and Bishop Bobby Wellons, Sr.
-God gave it to Jesus, Jesus gave it to the angel, and the angel gave it to his servant John.
A Word from the Lord:
-When it’s All Over, I Want to Be Saved!
-Don’t Give Up!
-I’m Blessed (You’re blessed)!
-Attitudes will stop your blessings!
***The above are just a few of the many blessed words that God is speaking to the Body of Christ. HE is requiring that we live a life that is pleasing in HIS sight. God is using the Man of God to remind us of the many things we need to keep in our hearts and practice through word and deed….
Be careful of what you say about God, and God’s people. We are to live a holy and sanctified life; which includes the words we speak out of our mouths. We must choose our words wisely. According to Matthew 12:36 (KJV), Jesus says “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
Not only should we fear, and take heed to the above scripture; we should just make it our business to keep negative words, thoughts, and deeds out of our hearts against people (in general). It hurts to know when someone is speaking negative, or has spoken negative things about you. As saints, one major responsibility that we have is to lift up the hearts of God’s people. We should esteem others better than ourselves (Philippians 2:3 KJV). There are many souls that have come off of the streets, broken homes, and life threatening situations that are looking for help in God’s house. God’s house should be the last place where they feel beat down by words of discouragement and negativity.
James 3:5 (KJV) “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!”
On a personal note, and testimony; I truly THANK GOD for deliverance. When I was in the world (not living for Christ), I talked bad about people (whether in their face or behind their backs, I did it). The lord showed me my faults in so many ways, and I was truly hurt and Godly sorry for the negative things I said to and about people. I was so ashamed. Although I do not claim to be perfect, I would rather “keep my BIG MOUTH SHUT, before speaking negative”. It is definitely a daily process that takes the help of Jesus, prayer, and practice. Our Bishop, Leader, and Pastor Bobby Wellons, Sr., reminds us constantly that sometimes “IT’S OKAY TO RUN!!!” Sometimes you have to run for your life. Run out of that corner; step out of the crowd of backbiters, naysayers, babblers, gossipers, etc. Do you, and run for your life.
Psalm 105:15 (KJV) “Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”
In the Gospel of St. John 13:34, Jesus says “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.”
Revelation 3:15-16 King James Version (KJV) “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Acts 9:5King James Version (KJV) “And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.”
