We at New Changing Life Deliverance Church give God the Glory for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; and we honor our Bishop and Leader, the Man of God Bobby Wellons, Sr.
We received a word of truth, love, and correction that is aimed to help us set ourselves and homes in order. God is setting the record straight on Christians judging one another, competing against one another, working together on one accord, and just plain ole “loving one another”.
Of course, we are human. However, human nature is no excuse to replace to true way in which the Lord is requiring of us to live out our lives toward ourselves and others. HE wants us to change our ways, our bad habits, and bad nature. When you come to God, you must look for and expect a change; especially within yourselves. You might even be saying to yourself “who are you to tell me how to live, or how to act”? My answer to you is that I am a Christian that desperately wants to change for the better and make it into heaven. I want my life to be a blessing and a light to unsaved and saved folks. If I keep this in mind, and agree with God on “doing right”; then I will change. Ultimately, I will stay changed.
Question: Do you want to change for the better?
Question: Do you recognize and acknowledge your shortcomings?
Question: Once God has changed your nature, are you will to “stay changed”?
Let the Lord change the nature of who you are “used” to being; the way in which you normally act. As Christians, our desire should be to go from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18 KJV), not carnal to carnal. But a lot of our ways are stuck in carnality. We act out by how we “feel”, when we should not go by our feelings.
Romans 8:7-9 discusses the following revelation of carnality versus the flesh.
“Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”
***After reading the above passage of scripture, where do you stand? Which of these positions in life have you chosen for your life as a Christian?
Review and meditate on the following words of encouragement. They may even be solutions to your problem. Sometimes the greatest blessings come in the smallest packages.
Use your spirit, not your talents
-Thank God for your talent of singing, dancing, miming, etc. however, our gifts come without repentance, and we can’t use them to get into heaven.
Let us work together, on one accord as a Body (of Christ); NOT FIGHT one another
– We need to realize that we are a team. When there is competition in God, you are fighting to be seen; and to receive your reward from man, not God.
Judge righteous judgment (John 7:24 KJV)
Observe the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:17-34 KJV)
Get in the healing position (John 5: 1-8KJV)
– When you position yourself, set yourself up, prepare yourself, and make yourself available for God’s use and/or blessing you can receive.
Moses Kills the Egyptian- You are on Holy Ground (Exodus 2:11-14 KJV)
– No matter what you have done in the past or 5 minutes ago. God’s grace is sufficient. HE is a forgiving God
Noah Finds Grace in the sight of God (Genesis 6:8-22 KJV)
Touch and Agree (Matthew 18:19 KJV)
